Where to buy table top?

Does anyone know where I might buy a desktop like the Linnmon from IKEA? IKEA is out of stock for our postcode and we need a desk sharpish. I plan to get hairpin legs separately from the Hairpin legs company. Their readymade desk with Formica top is lovely, but they're out of stock in the colour I want.

Could you cut down a kitchen worktop? Similar depth? Think they are less than £30 on IKEA website.
