Quickest ways to boost energy?

Feel so unbelievably lethargic. I could lie in bed for a week and not be bothered. I could be depressed.

Can anyone recommend ways to boost energy in the meantime? Or if you found out what was zapping your energy but are now full of life please share! Smile

Is this a sudden or long term thing? Have you looked into Chronic Fatigue?

That maybe a bit of a jump, so as we're spending a lot more time indoors, first thing I would recommend is a good vitamin D supplement. I felt the benefits within a few weeks.

What strength vitamin d did you go for? It could be that.

NHS recommends 10 micrograms (400 IU) per day, and not to exceed 100 micrograms. I believe Vitamin D3 is more effective.

I did 3 weeks of dry January and no takeaways, felt great. I take magnesium and vitamin D anyway.

Fell off the wagon weekend past due to a birthday (so much wine and food) and I feel terrible as a result. No motivation, feel lethargic, anxiety is back etc etc. So going to do another few weeks of no alcohol/crap food to get me back on track. Nothing is happening at the moment anyway.

Do some exercise, anything that can really get your heartbeat up for 30 mins 3 or 4 times a week.

Brisk walk, if you can, or our friend Jo Wicks!

Thank you for the tips. Almost feel too tired to implement them! Zzzz! It's such a vicious circle isn't it.
