substitute paella rice for risotto rice?

haven't got enough of either to use alone, can i mix and match? surely its just rice??

Risotto rice needs a lot of stirring to release the starch, paella you put in and leave alone. You can mix and match, but you have to try to not stir too much or too little!

Yes it's fine. Any type of rice will work for risotto, you'll just get a different texture.
