I go to bed at 11.30pm and wake up about 8am. I fall asleep fine and sleep well through the night if I wake up to pee I fall back to sleep quickly.
However in the mornings I feel like death, I really struggle to come round until I have been awake for a few hours. I just feel sleepy, sluggish and headachy until at least lunch time. Then as the afternoon goes on I feel better and more focused and feel most alert after about 4pm until 9pm. This is when I really want to focus on my work but this is the time I need to deal with family life. When it gets to bedtime I don’t ever feel tired but I can fall asleep.
I wish I could feel alert and focused Earlier in the day but always the hours after waking up are painful for me. I don’t drink or smoke, I’m healthy, vegetarian but I pretty much feel hungover every morning!
