Do doctors with undertakings struggle to get new jobs

Suspect it depends on the field and the person.

I've interviewed someone who turned out to have them. They did a terrible interview to the point they were unappointable before they told us about the undertakings.

Plus the other candidate was exceptional so decision made.

However I met them later at a conference and they were def working somewhere.

A different candidate though might be a different story. Especially in a field where there is a shortage.

A friend had a period of undertakings, didn’t seem to cause them any issues, stayed in employment & moved jobs during the period. I think it will depend very much on the individual & the situation.
