Yes - often feel like I’m coming down with a cold just before my period starts.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 02/02/2021 07:50

Yes! Often think I’m actually getting ill then realise it’s just that my period is due.

I can’t remember where I read it but I think the cause is related to prostaglandins and taking ibuprofen can help. I have tried it and it does seem to work

Definitely! Would never have noticed before Covid but so paranoid now.

Yep

Ilovewheelychairs · 02/02/2021 08:25

Yes. I even get a mild fever the day before I'm due on!

MaryIsA · 02/02/2021 08:41

I’ll try ibuprofen...it’s debilitating and in the time of covid...unhelpful.

YES! And I get winded more easily right before. I can feel it when I'm exercising.

sunflowersandbuttercups · 02/02/2021 08:43

Yes, every month!

Ibuprofen normally kicks it for me but it's very annoying.

MaryIsA · 02/02/2021 08:49

Ooh being more winded that’s only just twigged with me. I was absolutely tuckered out by a hill walk at the weekend that’s normally a breeze.

Yep, every month. And now that I'm checking my temp every day at work I've seen that I also get a slight temp range for a few days too.
