So, I work in a hairdressers (bloody love it) self employed 2 days a week and needed to find another job alongside at which is not zero hours if possible. Obviously closed at the moment.
I’ve applied for near on 50 jobs during lockdowns and have many rejections but now have this dilemma.
Job 1.....admin in a school 2 days a week zero hours term time. Started 2 weeks ago after they moved my start date from November. Been messed around a fair bit £8.72ph term only.
Should be working this morning but feel I would be using them and wasting their time.
Job 2....admin in a testing lab, as many hours as I like but 25 average, zero hours, 6 month term - £10ph, actually like this job. It may extend over 6 months.
Then...I have a 2nd interview on Friday with the NHS for a part time admin role. Permanent job prob £9ph
I feel I must be under good consideration to even get a 2nd interview with the NHS and it’s a job I’ve always wanted but have only had 1 interview and several rejections in the past. This would give me security.
So, do I not go to the school today? It’s not busy and I’m just watching others in the office.
Do I ditch it off in the hope I get the NHS job and do that alongside the hair.
Hubby won’t discuss it since I had a decent full time job in management 3 years ago and left due to stress (he’s never forgiven that).
