Need one for new flat due to right kitchen, but have heard they're terrible!

Anyone have any good experiences with one they can share the name of? Or any to avoid?

Thanks in advance!

I have one.
I just use dryer for sheets or underwear and socks it won't dry a full load of towels for example or full bedding set
A separate one is better but I don't have room

No there not great. It’s better to lose worktop space and stack them or put them in the cupboard etc rather than have a crap dryer 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I have a Miele, it's fine. I don't really use the dryer often though.

I’ve got a neff one, previously had separate washer and dryer. It’s crap, I rarely use to dry stuff, it takes absolutely ages to dry anything and because the door locks when the program starts, I can’t open the door to unbundle bedding, it just ends up in a big clump that’s still very damp in the middle. Thankfully the kitchen is always waste as we have an Aga so drying washing isn’t a problem, otherwise I’d have got another dryer.

Yes, live in a flat, without it would be inconvenient.

You have to accept it will not wash and dry a full load though, so put less in the machine. I'd recommend Bosch though expensive are very reliable.

We had one a few years back when we had no room in the kitchen for both appliances and it was bloody awful. The make was Ariston and it used to make me laugh (or piss me off!) that it lived up to its name as it went on and on and on!

I stopped using the dryer cycle in the end as everything was in it for hours and just came out wet and very hot. We put a tumble drier in the garage in the end!

Definitley nowhere near as good as separate machines but handy for finishing off washing that is partly dry so no ironing and towels etc are soft. I put a wash on at night, hang it on the airer overnight then put it on a 30 min dry in the morning to finish it off.
