How’s Your Sunday Eve Going?

I’m chilling out whilst waiting for some chicken to marinate ( trying out a sticky chicken noodle salad recipe from the Co Op magazine). DD12 is on her phone. She cleared out her room earlier so that DH could put up some new furniture. I cannot believe the amount of stuff! I thought I had a lot! She keeps every single little thing & for some reason, can’t use the bin. Rubbish ends up on the floor or shoved in drawers. And her room is filthy! Hopefully DH will deep clean it before installing the furniture. Will catch up with DOI later.

I feel like this is the first Sunday in ages that I've done 'right'. Had a lie in, got all the housework done, did parenty stuff with DS, went on a walk in the snow, and made a moussaka and a blueberry pie.

Normally I don't post on these threads because I don't manage any of those things Grin

Home from work to a lovely hot bath (NHS covid ward so have to get clean before can kiss DD s and DH - my favourite part of the day Grin)
Now ensconced on sofa watching Lion King with lamb roast dinner (that I didn't cook) and a gorgeous big glass of Carmenere. Heaven.

Watched Liverpool win, had a roast and now watching DOI.

I have stress toothache :( always get tooth/jaw ache when things are niggling away at me.

I'm looking for a cheap but functional hygrometer/thermometer for the mantis instead of the inaccurate one we have but don't really want to spend much more than a fiver because I'm not 100% sure it's not just a fad. I'm not having much luck so considering using the glue gun to put the current one higher up, but then I don't want to risk it falling off & maybe squashing the mantis.

I want to pick up my crochet but cba.

It's a bit crap really.

But, it's almost dd1's turn to brew (about a slurp and a half left in my tea mug) so looking forward to that. She always makes me a super strong brew.

Had a lie in then dh made me bacon and eggs. Went to allotment to set out the potatoes for chitting.

Called at pils for 10 mins. Got my birthday for tomorrow from them. DC played in their garden whilst they watched through the window.

Came home, had showers, chilled then had zoom quiz and catch up with dm, fb and sil and nephew who is lonely and away at university.

Not having salad for tea while watching tennis on catch up.

Mine is going down hill fast at the moment watching Tottenham allegedly attempt to play football 🤔 Had a lovely roast before though, and spent the afternoon baking 😊

We played Codenames online with my cousin and his wife, and their friend who's in the US - have done this a few times, it's fun. Then I prepped supper, stirfry veg and noodles with sea bass, lounged around for a while, cooked. Now DP is clearing up and I'm back on the sofa.

Waiting for my tea to steep, so sat outside watch a race, and feeding my feathered buds.
Off to work soon, so it's nice to be lazy now.

Fabulous.

Nice day. Bit of a lie in with DD who loves sleeping :-). Pottered about Rhodes morning. Home made soup for lunch and a long walk with DP and the kids. Roast chicken dinner. Just cleaned the carcass and put the good meat in the freezer and the bones in a tub to make stock tomorrow. I have work tomorrow so need to hang up laundry and chivvy DD to bed.

Briefly spent about 15 mins with my OH. We live 98 miles away from each other so at the moment seeing each other is rare, but he was over my way delivering to one of the stores. Only downside was until I get paid tomorrow I didn't have any diesel so I wasn't able to follow him up to the lay by we normally meet up at for his break. Felt a bit sad waving bye to him knowing he'd only be sat 10 mins away from me

Quiet and lack of motive. Drinking a pink lemonade Lucozade which is actually really nice.

About to make a couple of phone calls, I can't be there for something important for a friend this week because of lockdown so I can only phone.
