Fringe

Decided to grow out my fringe as last lockdown trimmed it myself and it didn't go so well.
I now have curtains like a 90's boy band.
Used clips, headbands etc to pin it back but end up looking like a total dork.
I know, I really do, that in maybe 3 more weeks it will tuck behind my ears like the rest and I can stop wearing a hat to the shop. Please someone hide the scissors and help me last....

I love the word dork.

I can’t help because I’m the worst for cutting my own fringe about an hour after deciding to grow it.

Aaaggghh it is just so stupid until it gets long enough to go behind my ears. It has a mind of its own, bouncing about. The rest lies flat ( obviously the weight of added length ) but it looks like 2 completely different types of hair.

I've spent my life debating this and doing so again now.
I seem to eventually glance in a shop window or side picture when I don't have a fringe and think oh no my forehead looks so straight compared to my nose and think it looks awful. Then I cut in in again.
Strange that I ever only have these thoughts about myself - everyone else looks perfectly lovely without a fringe Hmm
