I see these mentioned a lot on mumsnet, what's so special about them? There's so many diffusers out there I wondered why this one is always mentioned as gifts and wants Smile

I've used diffusers for over 10 years. We have one in every room. I buy the asakuki ones from amazon. I find them really good. They are about 25 pounds each. In all honesty I have no idea why you'd pay 100 pounds for one. The main thing really is what you put in it.
Using essential oils not fragrance oils and learning about blends is important.

I am also wondering what Neom has more than the others. I was sooo tempted to buy one as the ultimate indulgence, but not sure about the price. Eventually I invested £13 in a Miserwe one on Amazon and it looks beautiful and works perfectly for me.

Let's hope someone with experience of Neom and cheap ones will reply!

I had one as a gift and love it, two of my friends have since bought them after seeing mine
I bought myself a cheap one from Amazon for my bedroom at my mums and it’s just not the same
The Neom is way more stylish, it’s ceramic
The white company do a ceramic one which is nice, was on offer recently
The Neom one I guess is popular be the Neom oils are so good but there’s no reason why you couldn’t use them with a more affordable diffuser
I find the diffuser relaxing, have it by my bed do use the lamp on it but heating the water bubbling away is like being in a spa then there’s the puffs of fragrance
I love it

So basically it’s two fold, it looks stylish, and is a lovely diffuser/lamp and the oils are also really good. Like a pp says you want essential oils over fragrance

Ah great, I didn't realize it was made of ceramic. That's nice.
