My son will turn 1 in May. Can anyone recommend any outdoor toys etc that your child/ren of a similar age got lots of use out of?

Depends how much you want to spend but we got a toddler tower with a slide and swing and it has been used a lot but has limited longevity because it’s smaller. On the cheaper end a water table has been used loads as has a mini paddling pool.

Bubble machine, sand pit and Little Tikes slide.
We also invested in a swing that was at a lower height and had a toddler seat, but which could be raised and converted to a normal seat.

Water table, my eldest still uses it age
9.

We had a sort of cube thing with a little slide, that got used a lot. Sand pit also in the summer, but needs to be kept clean and sand replaced every year.

We bought a sand pit for DS' first birthday. He also has a slide bought when he was about 2.

Mine got a wee sand table when she was tiny and literally still played with it when she was about 6, best thing ever!

We’ve got one of those shell sandpits and some bags of play sand from argos, he loved it. He loved getting water from the paddling pool and making the sand into a swamp and splashing in it.

A second hand cozy coupe car. Have a look on Facebook market place or Shpock. My DD loves hers.

Little tikes do a fab range of toddler jungle gyms, rockers etc. We got tons of use out of them (we bought fairly cheap off ebay/facebook). Sand pit and water tables were also good. The little bug scooter things were good too if walking already
