Yep....

LIZS · 30/01/2021 22:34

On average yes.

cariadlet · 30/01/2021 22:38

Almost. 7 months have 31 days.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 30/01/2021 22:39

My gp gives out 28 days. Which gives me the quiet rage.

SisyphusDad · 30/01/2021 22:45

No. Unless a February is involved, 60 tablets is less than two months.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 30/01/2021 22:47

Don't you know the answer to this op?

In pharmacy 2 months worth of medication is either 56 or 60 tablets, depending on the original pack size of the medication (perindopril and fluoxetine are 60, most other things are 56). It makes no sense at all I know, even to those of us who dispense them, but it's how it works. Otherwise we'd constantly be snipping bits off and adding bits in depending on how many days are in that particular month, and what happens if you've already got a month at home, and this months meds are actually going to be used in March and not February? We use a standard 4 weeks, which means people order their medication every 4th Friday (or whenever their reorder date is) and collect it from us the following Friday to tie in with normal shopping routines or work schedules. Like I say, it makes so little sense to anybody outside of a pharmacy, and means we know our 28 times table better than any other times table!
