Two friends of mine have had severe nausea, lost their sense of taste and flu like symptoms.

My DH had his today, he's immunosuppressed and often has very mild flu like side effects after his flu jab. He was told by the nurse that a few covid/flu like symptoms was normal and nothing to worry about for 48 hours after the jab. He has developed a high temperature (38.2) and aches tonight but is OK with some paracetemol and a 'feel sorry for himself' dominos pizza and Fanta.

Couple òf people I work with have partners working in hospital who have had the vaccine. I'm told the recipients felt bad for a couple of days. Apparently it's worse if you have had the virus

I had the Pfizer jab and had a very sore arm the next day. Colleagues have had Oxford Astrazeneca jab and had nausea, chills, headache for 24/48 hours and felt terrible..

Mum and Dad had the Pfizer and neither had any side effects. ECV friend had the Oxford-also no side affects at all.

I had the AstraZeneca jab a few days ago. Was warned I might feel unwell the following couple of days but apart from my arm feeling tender, I've been lucky enough to have no other side effects.

I had the Pfizer a week ago. Had a slightly tender arm the following day but it had gone by Monday. Been fine the rest of the week. DM and DF had the Oxford vaccine on Wednesday - both in their early 80s. Both were a bit tired on Wednesday and Thursday but have been ok apart from that.

I’ve had both doses of Pfizer, the first one made me feel really ill, dizzy, sick and tired and my limbs ached, the second one I was ok apart from tired.
My mom has had the first one and felt totally fine.

I had the first Pfizer vaccine 10 days ago, no side effects apart from a sore arm for a couple of days.

visitorfromtheplanetzog · 30/01/2021 23:48

My elderly relative had it, no side-effects at all.

Dontstepinthecowpat · 30/01/2021 23:50

I had Pfizer on Monday, bit of a sore arm and extra aches after my shift but nothing untoward.

Pfizer, v sore arm for couple days afterwards (started about 4 hrs after). Headache and general “need an early night” the day of the vaccine.

Arrierttyclock · 31/01/2021 11:10

I had the Pfizer and was fine apart from a sore arm/lymph nodes under my armpit and a slight headache. Husband had Oxford and was in bed shivering with a temp of 38.9, he was quite unwell

I'm booked in for mid-Feb, and am hoping I do experience side-effects, as that will reassure me I've had an immune response.

My immune system is a confused, perverse one at the best of times.
