Most things seem dearer. But I went grocery shopping today and I was happily shocked at the price of pure maple syrup. It was far cheaper than I remember! I think it was north of ten quid when I bought it a few years back and now it is 3-4 pounds. I double checked the ingredients, just maple syrup, the real deal.
Same with agave syrup. Around two pounds now vs. eight pounds or so in the past.
Granted these were in Lidl. But even in the organic store they are cheaper than I remember!
Any thing else that you know has been trending down? And why?
