It's the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend. A lovely activity that's really easy to do and it is so therapeutic watching the birds.

You need to spend an hour watching the birds in your garden or any space you can see from your house (they're not recommending parks this year due to lockdown restrictions), and count the largest amount of each type that you see at once (to avoid counting the same robin coming back for more food 5 times). Then you just fill out the form and send it to to the RSPB.
I've put out sunflower hearts (the goldfinches and tits love these) peanuts, mealworms and one of those coconuts with fat in them. We normally get pigeons, magpies, robins, goldfinches, great tits, blackbirds and sometimes starlings. We rarely get sparrows which is weird as they are so prolific elsewhere!
Anyone else taking part?
