Everyone seems so crabby today?

Lots of people seem so irritable today e.g. on a local Facebook quite a few people piled in on a simple question someone asked about a new building development in the local area. On here someone was very irritable while l was trying to help her with a query she had. I don’t think she had read my question properly or understood it but she could have just said that

For clarity lm not loving life. My partner has COVID (somehow l haven’t got it), l had to cancel an important medical appointment as we are self isolating, our internet is broken and work is busy

Sorry to hear that about you partner @WhatKatyDidNxt . I guess the weather may be to blame with the crabbiness of people?? I was very happy this morning until I got trapped in a deluge. Due to an item in my bag having a sticker on it, it bleeped as I went outside the shop. I went in and started to take things out so they could see what is was and afterwards I realised I left something in the shop! They were evacuating so I couldn't get back so that is why I am crabby. I am alright now, I am at work!

@Deathraystare thanks, he’s doing ok and hasn’t done too badly at all. Good point, the weather has perked up today here but l know the forecast was dodgy for a lot of the country. Not that l can go out, roll on freedom on Sunday!

It did cheer up eventually but I was already soaked! Now when I finish work I have to walk in the dark and drown my feet in puddles. Where I live there are loads of those pavement slabs which collapse under you and wash your feet!

Never mind, I will cheer myself up with fish and chips!!

I think it must just be January dragging on. I’ve just come or Facebook before asking some random bloke who is determined to start a fight over something that doesn’t actually particularly interest me whether he’s a dick all of the time or just on a Friday?

Reckon everyone's doing it a bit hard, and it's wearing on all our last nerves. I hope your partner doesn't get too rough, you stay infection free, and the internet starts behaving!

I don't think it's just today, but it is Friday and has been wet or cold in much of the country.

I was cheered up no end by a conversation with a cat I met for the first time whilst on a walk.

Can I suggest 'crabbit'? It's the Scottish version of crabby

@Brogues l did ask a friend how his 367th day of January is going. This is the longest month ever, even longer than November 2020!

@mbosnz internet is most definitely dead sadly, l tried to fix it, fiancé tried and Virgin tried remotely but nothing. They were meant to come this week but couldn’t due to him being plague ridden

YES!! I felt in a bad mood last night for no discernible reason. Let's have happier Saturdays! I think I spent the week thinking about bills and being behind with work (not gratifying topics), other people were grumpy, then I felt grumpy as well.

Perhaps we had our blue Monday (most depressing day of the year) on a Friday.
