Phalic symbol made from snow

Last weekend made by a 14yo relative, in a public park, photographed and shared on SM.

You wouldn't believe the fuss Grin There seems to have been a massive reaction, varying from "brilliantly funny" "great to see them getting outdoors" to "kids today have no respect".

Where would you stand?

RainingBatsAndFrogs · 29/01/2021 11:35

I would roll my eyes.

Plonque · 29/01/2021 11:35

It would barely register. I don't think it's funny and I wouldn't be offended.

RainingBatsAndFrogs · 29/01/2021 11:35

And ignore on SM. Not feed reaction and attention.

SnoozyBoozy · 29/01/2021 11:36

I would roll my eyes and not comment (but not find it tremendously funny). I certainly wouldn't get in a froth about it in SM

WorraLiberty · 29/01/2021 11:37

Meh 🤷‍♀️

PlanDeRaccordement · 29/01/2021 11:40

Many things are phallic anyway. So I would not care.

JimmyTheBrave · 29/01/2021 11:41

Wouldn't make me laugh out loud but it's just a joke isn't it? No harm done

PolarnOPirate · 29/01/2021 11:41

Penises have been funny forever, it's not kids these days Grin But personally I don't find it hugely funny or offensive.

MustardMitt · 29/01/2021 11:41

I’d laugh.

nitsandwormsdodger · 29/01/2021 11:51

My reaction would depend on the boys intention

If it was to offend and cause controversy then i would ignore

If it was high spirits and he was normally respectful I would be more inclined to click like

If it was a sign that he was a sexual deviant and it was a cry for help I'd call him up and have a chat and signpost him towards help

BogRollBOGOF · 29/01/2021 11:53

Funny.

Phallus symbols are of ancient cultural importance to himan societies.
Quite amusing that every generation of teenager thinks they're beinv a little bit outrageous Grin

ServeTheServants · 29/01/2021 11:55

I’d point it out to my husband and we’d have a giggle

Dyrne · 29/01/2021 11:58

If it was right next to a playground or something I’d roll my eyes and think they should have built it a bit further away.

Anywhere else and I’d be giggling and showing DP Grin

SapphosRock · 29/01/2021 12:02

I'd take a photo of it and frame it.

LindaEllen · 29/01/2021 12:03

I probably would snigger to myself if I saw it. But then again I do have the maturity of a 12yo when it comes to finding things like body parts amusing, so..

BarbaraofSeville · 29/01/2021 12:05

Exactly. Just look how many are depicted on the average Roman ruin.

SeaToSki · 29/01/2021 12:06

My dc regularly tramp out snow dingus outlines in the snow in our garden. Its hilarious apparently. Im just happy they are outside, doing something together and I think its quite inoffensive. You should have seen the horror on their faces when I suggested (to be fair) they make an outline of a womans privates ... that apparently was next level 🤣

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 29/01/2021 12:09

🤷🏻‍♀️Funny - in that teenagers always think they are the first to do something...

I'd just eye roll if I saw it in person and I don't do SM.

BrassicaRabbit · 29/01/2021 12:15

Um I'd remind you that my boyfriend is a little older than 14 actually...

BrassicaRabbit · 29/01/2021 12:16

sea to ski I'd love to see their reaction if you got out there with them to create your own snow vulva!

PeterPandora · 29/01/2021 13:31

My parents once dozed off on a beach and awoke to find that they were lying alongside life sized nude sculptures of themselves that my brother and I had created out of sand.

We were about 10 and 8 at the time. We were used to being around artists and considered what we had done was highly artistic and sophisticated.

Luckily our parents laughed.

Love this!

I'm in the meh camp. I wouldn't comment on it on SM, but I wouldn't care much either. I'd just ... see it and move right on without giving it any more thought.

Only on MN.

legalseagull · 29/01/2021 13:37

Boys have been drawing dicks on things since the dawn of time. My husband has even been known to draw a dick on the Misty bathroom mirror, thinking I'd find him hilarious. I'd roll my eyes.

Plus, how would you know which category his sculpture put him in? Grin
