Group 1 car seat for the new (2017-) VW Polo

Looking at car seats now my baby is outgrowing her infant carrier. I am a bit anxious to see that hardly any fit the new Polo for some reason! Yet they all seem to fit the model before??

One of the only decent options looks like the Cosatto Moova 2, but that's only forward facing so DD couldn't go in it until she's 15 months. I was also hoping to get a seat that goes right up to age 12 but it doesn't seem like that's an option in this car Confused

Surely plenty of other people with young children have this incredibly popular car - is anyone able to advise please?

Just to add, we are looking for non-isofix. Thanks :)

Do you know what centile she’s on? The 25kg rear facing seats can last until average age 7 which is better if she’s on a higher centile and you don’t want to move her into a booster eg at three and are all (except one!) seatbelt fitted. As a general though, there aren’t many that go up to twelve. Booster seats and group 1 car seats have polar opposite needs (being robust for group one and being flexible for boosters), so I wouldn’t worry about that. They can be picked up for as little as £30 so I wouldn’t worry about that.

Joie do 18kg rear facing seats that can fit with the seatbelt, other ones to take a look at are ones such as axkid move/MiniKid, britax MaxWay
