What did you get your dc for their 21st birthday?

Oldest DC has their 21st coming up, it's likely that we will still be in lockdown which isn't ideal. We would have liked to do a trip away somewhere-again unlikely although could postpone to next year.

Anyway in terms of gifts, she is coming up with nothing and I'm at a bit of a loss. She got some decent jewellery and a watch for her 18th that's she's never had on so that kind of thing just seems like a waste.

So really I'm hoping for ideas? It just seems much harder just now with nothing to do, nowhere to go! What did you get for your DCs? Or any ideas?

We bought a dyson hairdryer and paid for her to stay in a v nice London hotel for the weekend with her boyfriend.

The hotel bit may have to wait though until lockdown finishes.

Our daughter turned 21 last September, and we got her all new bedroom furniture and a new TV for her to have when she moves out, which she's planning to do this year. She was really happy with it all.
