Does anyone know what it is called? I want to buy one but I can’t because I don’t know what to look for! TIA :-)

You mean on a music stand there's usually a kind of clip that goes over the Music and keeps it open ?

Emmelina · 27/01/2021 21:47

My music teacher always just referred to it as the arm. I don’t know if that’s the official term.

Chalkcheese · 27/01/2021 21:50

On a music stand or music rest, the bits that hold it in place are called the arms.

Clothes peg Grin

When I rule the world all music will be printed on either a single sheet like several a4s stuck together or will be spiral bound in books to avoid this very avoidable annoyance.

:) :) :) thanks everyone. Maybe it is the arm? I’m thinking like a little clip on one that goes at the top of a book to keep it open?
