Too big for Boden, what next?

Can you help me Mumsnetters: my DD(9) is very tall for her age, but quite slender. Up to now she has lived in Boden and Joules, but is now nearly out of their clothing height-wise, but nowhere near big enough for the women's range.

What are the go-to brands for tweens for good quality, age appropriate girls clothing? I'm not ready for her to dress like a teenager just yet!

They do a teenage range, I think...

H and M or Zara

Boden used to do a teenage range called Johnnie B. Maybe have a look on eBay. They went up to age 16 I think.

Boden’s teen range used to be an absolute godsend for tweens. Mine discovered teen fashion, hollister, superdry and urban outfitters being particular favourites. The sizing was good for young, not-yet-adults but I understand if it’s a bit too grown up and sexualised for 9.

Next ladies range goes very small and covers a range of styles, not all too grown up. Secondhand Johnnie B is worth hunting for though. I’d have been lost without it, especially once one of mine got hips before being particularly ready for ladies clothing.

Dd tween likes Abercrombie and Fitch.
They have lots of slouchy, non sexualized tween clothes.

Don’t know what the girls range is like but recently got my 10 yo DS lots of tops and some trousers from GAP which have gone down well. Prices ok in the sale.
