I don't know why I'm being so dense at this, but I need help buying the right thing (have already bought the wrong thing) to light my work video calls so I don't look 150 years old and all shadowy and jowly.
I'm working from home, on Teams calls all day. Desk is in a fixed position against a wall. Can't change this. Artificial light comes from above or behind.
I understand that I need to have light behind the laptop, projecting into my face. Is it a selfie ring I need?
Internet searches are throwing up tons of stuff, but mostly relating to vloggers working with phones or £300 kit for professional vbloggers The descriptions on Amazon are bamboozling me.
If anyone could be really specific about what they've bought, that would be great.
