Pearl (30 year) wedding anniversary present for DH

I'm really struggling to think of a wedding anniversary present for DH for our 30th anniversary next month. when I've googled for ideas it comes up with things like pearl cuff links and dress studs which he already has or bits of dust collecting clutter. Any ideas? Did anyone have an amazing 30th anniversary present they loved?

Scuba diving trip to look for oysters?

Is he into astronomy? Reallly nice telescope.

30 divided by 5 is 6. Wood is 5th. So you could give him 6 wooden things. Or wood, 6 times.

Assuming you have a garden, how about a plant with pearl in the name? Eg choisya 'aztec pearl'.

Does he play any instruments?

You can get mother of pearl plectrums.

I’m interested in responses to this as our 30th is this year. We don’t generally bother with anniversaries but do for “milestone” types so 10th, 25th and now 30th......

Ours is next month too. We are not doing presents as we don't need anything; we just paid out £££ for a new front door and a new fridge freezer that just conked out the other day. So we will keep our money to go away when restrictions are lifted. Would love a weekend in London when permitted.

I got my DH pearl cufflinks, a newspaper from our wedding day and a bottle of champagne.

Thanks for all the ideas - I came across a champagne bucket with a mother of pearl band on it which made me think that an ice bucket might be quite nice - now looking for a nice vintage one on ebay.

Otherwise a pearl themed plant might work as I have an all white garden (which is currently all dead leaves and overgrown ivy.....)

On the music side - he plays the organ and we have no room for one of those!

I had a good laugh at the scuba diving - I once got him into a wet suit to sea swim and he wimped out saying the neck was too tight....
