Having 1 slimfast shake for lunch
How many snacks would i have?
If you have 2 shakes it says have x3 snacks of 100 calories each
Would i have 5 snacks ?

No it doesn't work like that.

The shakes contain the nutritional bits, the snacks are a perk to help you keep to the diet. By trying to replace the shakes with snacks you are losing the nutrition.

Ok i have normal breakfast
Then a shake for lunch
Snacks imbetween of no more than 300 calories over 3 snacks
Then normal tea

How many calories do you have for breakfast and dinner ? I’ve been having a shake for breakfast and a bar for lunch then a 600 or fewer calorie dinner

You need to actually count your calories. A proper breakfast could be anything from 200kcal-400kcal +
My fitness pal would be better than slimfast

Slimfast only works on the short term. You'd be better off creating an account on My Fitness Pal and learning the calorific value of different foods. Then aim for 1200 calories a day plus exercise. MFP also gives you a breakdown of the nutritional value of what you are eating.

Good luck. Make sure you have a balanced meal, and if you can, eat fruit, yoghurt or a boiled egg or something instead of snacks.

Cereal bars and the like make you crave more of the same.

Go for a darker chocolate, as you get more of a chocolate hit from a small amount.

And when you stop having shakes and go back to eating “junk” again? I’m guessing it will all go back on.
Weight loss isn’t a quick fix, it’s a journey of learning how to make healthy choices.
I’m 5ft 6 and about 3.5 stone over weight. The plan I’m on had me on 2200 calories a day, 15000 steps and three strength work outs a week (that I can do from home using everyday objects). I’ve lost half a stone in just over three weeks.
May not be quick, but healthier and more sustainable in the long run I imagine.
