Do I need an Alexa?

...I mean obviously I don’t need one, but I’m wondering what I’m missing out on.

I’d like to stream music and Radio, BBC radio if possible...if woman’s hour could automatically just turn on at 10am that would be great.

If it read my kindle books I’d be interested. I’m sure there is much more? Watching YouTube and cooking shows?

What do you use yours for? I feel like I need to get up to date!

I love my alexa(s). I use it to listen to the radio, music, podcasts and audible books, as well as setting alarms, reminders, timers. Occasionally, we do silly quizzes etc as well. It's also linked to my headspace account.

We have an Amazon music subscription, which helps, and also an audible subscription. I think she does read kindle books without audible, but it's probably a bit robotic iyswim.

You can set the radio to come on at specific times.
