Have your household bills gone up alot in the last year? I just checked and my electricity bill is up to £85 a month, and the gas to £45. atm I have 2 kids at home all the time, and obviously everyone is in the house more. Were in a small 3 bed terrace and the costs are mad!

Our bills have gone up too due to the increased electricity and heating use of everyone being home. Food bills seem to have gone up too but I think that's down to us wanting to cook and bake more as well as pricing increasing in general. It's crappy all round.

Yes. Even the water has gone up loads. Think it’s all of the cups of tea I’m making all day working from home!

How much extra do you think this is costing you? The adults in the house are still out at work so our travel costs haven't gone down and with the bills going up its making an impact

Yes, we now have our heating running 15 hours a day and I dread to think what all the gadgets are costing.

However, after changing suppliers this time last years, the actual bills are lower. Not sure if that will hold for this winter though.

Yes spending more on electricity and gas. Food costs about the same. Spending a fortune on printing for the home schooling!

I would imagine schools costs are down with heating and light and printing! 😊

I am shocked at the water bill too. Never occurred to me that it would also be affected

The water bill is because no ones in a hurry to get out of the shower anymore. I despair. Ds1 can be in there an hour!

I'm considering putting them on a timer while they are in there.... Is that going a bit far???

I'd love to know if that's possible. If I'm in, I do bang on the door, but I'm the only one still going out to work. If there's a way to get it to cut out after a reasonable time, I think we're there in this house.
