Next returns via courier

I did a big sale order and it’s all going back but had arrived in so many dribs and drabs. Can I put multiple orders in one big box?

I was wondering if the courier would get multiple payments for the returns. I only have two items to return though.

I have so many separate packages from where they dispatched things one at a time

A courier once told me that they get paid per parcel but this was a few years ago. My last return for next via courier never arrived but they refunded me anyway.

Is it free for us?

I got 2 separate deliveries and returned them in 1 bag. 3 of the items were refunded, 1 wasn't. I rang them and they were really good about it. Said there was no record of the 4th item being returned but they'd start an investigation and refund me in the meantime.

I booked one for tomorrow but no idea what time.

They used to charge £2 per parcel, so just stick them all in together with your returns cards, if you have them.

I've done this recently and put multiple orders in one of the big bags they arrived in (parcels arrived to me across several deliveries too)
When you book a collection, no time frame or text given, they just turn up but as I'm at home all the time now it makes no difference to me!
I've been billed either £2 or £3 to my next account for the collection cost.

Free returns as I far as I’m aware, I’ve never been billed before. You should get both a text message and an email to say your return has arrived. It can take up to 10 days but ask your courier for proof of return in case it doesn’t arrive.

Might be easier to return instore if you’re able to.

Look at the order number underneath the barcode on returns stickers. If all ordered at the same time they should all be the same.
If they are, what I do is send everything back in one bag and layer the stickers on outside of bag so the list of items is visible but only one barcode for hermes to scan.

If they are different numbers, I bag they individually but put them back in the biggest bag and the returns label for the outer bag is for whatever is loose in the big bag.

They only used to charge for collection if you sent entire order back.

I haven’t had an email confirmation and can’t see my Hermes collection slot in my account anywhere is this right?

Despite them asking for a number to send confirm email, I don't think I've had one for st least 2 years! It won't show in account.

Courier will turn up at some point tomorrow and once scanned you'll get an email confirmation collection then one when it gets back to them.

I pay the £20 a year for unlimited deliveries and free collection. Worth it if you order regularly.

I returned a load of sale stuff in one big bag and put all the documentation in there - it wasn’t my fault they sent the order in so many different deliveries so they got to sort it out

@Whatsnewpussyhat at the moment it’s okay because I’m in 24/7 like you say. I do have the £20 deal like you. But it didn’t say online that it’s included. @mrsbyers I agree! The packaging is unreal.

I’ve never paid for a return to Next. When I do return, I package separately, simply because our Hermès guy is lovely and very helpful. He gets paid per return so if he delivered 5 packages to me, then they are returned per package and printed returns label so he gets paid properly.
