When did you drink again after pregnancy?

I'm going to start by saying this isn't a judgy thread at all. Nor am I trying to enter into a debate about drinking in pregnancy.

I didn't drink through my pregnancy at all. I also haven't drunk since my son was born as I didn't feel, for me, it was safe to do so when looking after a baby.

I had a big sip or two of DPs cider the other day and I could feel it starting to affect me in my head and in my legs. That night I had a random dream about drinking very little at a work do (remember them?!) but being really drunk and embarrassing myself.

I don't particularly miss drinking but I'm now thinking I won't be able to handle even a small amount. Is this normal?

I can't remember when but probably within a few days to celebrate. I did not drink much then but certainly drink now! I don't think pregnancy changed my tolerance, it just may be it's been a while so your body isn't accustomed to it.

Dd is two and I probably started again when she was about one. Fell pregnant again when she was 14 months. Baby now six weeks and the thought of having a drink when so sleep deprived makes me want to cry. Whilst I love a glass of wine I fear it's a very long way off.

I'm ok with one or two and looking after them, I'm no way able to cope with night feeds, two hours sleep and alcohol though!
