Has anyone had a supermarket vegetable spring roll in 2021

I've not found them in any of the supermarkets I've been too, fresh or frozen. Plenty of duck and chicken ones but no vegi.

Not sure if you wanted the full size ones but I know Iceland always have the mini veggie ones.

StealthPolarBear · 23/01/2021 22:18

Thanks. I wouldn't mind the size, ds loves them. I don't really go near Iceland, can go to tesco, asda and coop and could possibly go to sainsburys.

Watching this as my daughter lives vegi spring rolls. Easy to find at Christmas but seem to disappear for the rest of the year.

nursejekyll · 23/01/2021 22:20

Aldi have them in.

CarlottaValdez · 23/01/2021 22:20

I’ve had ones from Marks and Spencer’s last week.

RoseDog · 23/01/2021 22:20

I got a pack of 4 from Morrison's this morning.

StealthPolarBear · 23/01/2021 22:21

I've never noticed them not be available at other times before now. Co op still had plenty of that sort of thing in, just no vegi sering rolls. Asda had frsch and frozen duck and chicken ones :(
I may have to learn to make them :o

We had veggie ones from the Co-Op with our dinner this evening, they were next to the ready meals in the refrigerated bitSmile

StealthPolarBear · 23/01/2021 22:22

Thanks everyone. Annoyingly these aren't shops I go in, but I'll bear it in mind if I get the chance and keep looking in the meantime.

Yes, from Sainsburys today! Full size. They were very ordinary.

StealthPolarBear · 23/01/2021 22:23

So you stole the last pack :)
I know they definitely didn't have them, I know where I usually get them, as you say by ready meals. They had onion bhajis etc all in the little packs.

Our tesco had the mini frozen ones in last week.

TranquilityofSolitude · 23/01/2021 22:27

I got some mini frozen ones in Asda yesterday. They were in the party food area.

formerbabe · 23/01/2021 22:29

Sainsburys had them this week

yawnsvillex · 23/01/2021 22:30

Waitrose have veggie ones - had some today in fact

Whatsnewpussyhat · 23/01/2021 22:32

I got some in Asda last week, end of the freezer section. 1 freezer with party food. Had duck or veg. Lots of empty spaces in freezers though so probably just bad timing for deliveries.

Pimlicojo · 23/01/2021 22:32

I got some in Lidl last week.

IsadoraQuagmire · 23/01/2021 22:34

I always get them in Aldi, and I prefer them to ones I've tried from other supermarkets.

AWaspOnAWindowReturns · 23/01/2021 22:35

I've had some from Morrison's - they're on the deli counter in our local one.

justjuggling · 23/01/2021 22:48

Sainsbury’s had them this weekend.

nothingcanhurtmewithmyeyesshut · 23/01/2021 23:34

We had some from Tesco. In the party food section.

BarbaraofSeville · 24/01/2021 05:12

M&S had Chinese New Year themed stuff yesterday, so it may be worth looking within that range either in person, or on Ocado.

LittleRa · 24/01/2021 05:28

I had full size ones from Sainsbury’s on Wednesday (fridge aisle), I’ve also seen them in Iceland yesterday (freezer) but didn’t buy.

sundaysgirls · 24/01/2021 05:52

No, but then I haven't had one in the previous 30 years either !

TheDuchessOfAquitaine · 24/01/2021 06:40

M&S and Waitrose have them all year (am a bit of an addict). Waitrose ones are slightly nicer (fatter with more veggies...the M&S ones can sometimes just feel all pastry and no filling).
Sainsburys are pretty decent too but not had them from there for ages.
