What did you have/do for a significant birthday?

A big one coming up for me and we had planned a trip away. Experiences are my preferred thing but with no certainty at present I don't want to plan for fear of disappointment; I, like us all, was hoping that there may be a glimmer of hope that I could do something but obviously not. Just interested to hear about your experiences.

For my last two 'big' birthdays dp booked us surprise trips away, one of which we couldn't go on due to Covid.

If I was having a big day now, I'd be very happy with:
posh restaurant food to warm up and plate up at home
a piece of jewellery
books or a book token
the biggest bunch of flowers to be found
a cashmere scarf or jumper
'posh' PJs
Expensive bubble bath and the fluffiest towel available for ready money
