McDonald's sweet and sour dip

Does any one know of any copycat supermarket versions that taste similar to the dips you get with nuggets at McDonald's please?
The sweet and sour and the sweet curry for example?

We get the xl chicken nuggets from Iceland and have the McCain french fries, just missing the dips.

Could you go for a sweet chilli sauce?

The Heinz curry sauce In a bottle (normally found in cheap/bargain shops ) tastes just like the McDonalds curry dip

Not really, it's mainly for the kids and they find sweet chilli a bit fiery. I like sweet chilli though.

No idea how to do clicky links on phone, but this looks easy and store cupboard ingredients-y.

This is from an Annabel Karmel cookbook, so kid friendly. Sauté the onion and pepper and then put the rest of the ingredients in and simmer for 15 mins. Might be worth a try?

Thank you kindly for the recipe links but I was hoping for a bottle of something I could keep in the fridge for those random lazy days tbh.
I will however stash them away to give them a go another time when the experimenting mood strikes again.

About 20 years ago asda used to do an exact copy of the sweet and sour one and it still breaks my heart to this day that it was discontinued lol. I've never seen one since!
