Inspired by another thread: has lockdown/Covid messed with your periods and is this evidence of the burden on women at the moment?

On a “could I be pregnant” type thread just now a lot of us seem to be having irregular and unpredictable periods at the moment.

Is this reflective of the stress on women during the pandemic?

Are yours less predictable than usual? Do you blame lockdown?

For full disclosure mine have been getting less regular, (sometimes 5 weeks instead of 4) for the last year that I had been attributing to perimenopause.
Most recently I’ve had a 9 week gap and now very unusually light.

Was putting it down entirely to age until I read the can a vasectomy reverse itself thread.

If you live with other women who menstruate then your cycles will tend to align. This is more apparent the more time you spend together so being constantly in each other's company (like in a lockdown) will make it happen.

Otherwise, I'm not sure we can blame covid over and above any other cause of stress

Mine has gone completely wonky
3 days of spotting, then period. 6 days late last month, more spotting at random times

Mine have remained exactly the same.
