Alarm clock accidentally set for 4.30am

I have had insomnia since the last Feb, around the time the pandemic hit. It results in me waking up every night between 1-4 times, sometimes for hours.

I took pills but they didn't really work. So recently, growing fed up and exhausted, I overhauled my entire bedtime routine, meditating before bed and going to sleep earlier.

Tonight was shaping up to be the first night in a fucking year that I slept through.

And the alarm on my iPad set for 4.30pm woke me up because it turns out I'd set it for 4.30am.

I was so fucking angry I've not been able to go back to sleep. My body is just filled with rage.

Just needed to rant.

Also if anyone has techniques on how to deal with anger without breaking shit I'll take those too.

Also it was set for 4.30am because the new iOS across all Apple devices is the devils works and I hope whoever changed it rots in hell.

Thank you. That's what I'm trying to tell myself too. Toddler will be waking up in half an hour and I'm just going to be shattered (DH does his fair share but he's been working nights so I'll be taking the early childcare shift).

Fucking Apple.
