I'm actually missing DD having sleepovers at this point

Never thought I'd say that!

I miss long train journeys feverishly preparing for a meeting!

Running into Zara on the way to a night out because suddenly nothing in my wardrobe is quite right.

The feeling of wary contented fellowship with other passengers on the Tube back from the theatre.

Late night pizza dash at the express supermarket five minutes before it closes.

Cat sitting!

Dry cleaning!

Used to be such a boring chore.

Going for a walk and calling in at a cafe for tea and cake!

Sitting up to your neck in a lukewarm swimming pool watching the children play on a soggy Sunday.

I miss sleepovers too. I'd love a house full of giggling girls right now as I know DD would be so happy.

I miss dd's friends being all over my house causing chaos and mess. She didn't often have sleepovers just due to her being still young (7) but I do miss the sound of her laughter.

I miss herding her and her friends into the safety video at the trampoline Park, I miss the rush of getting home from work, collecting her from childcare and getting her to her dance class or swimming lesson.

Mostly I miss hearing her play and laugh like she used to
