On phone apologies for typos. Also I’ve name changed because I’m embarrassed.

Yesterday a vehicle decided to start playing silly buggers with me (could speculate on why but it’s nit because I committed an rto ). Culminated in full-on toad rage with him driving shouting out of his window at me at a roundabout, ‘waiting’ fir me in dual carriageway, when I went into overtaking Lane him swerving in front of me then braking, etc etc.

I had my grandchildren, aged 8 & 10 in the back.

I stayed calm

I was so worried that I went on a detour home to make certain he hadn’t followed me & knew where I lived.

Last night I went to bed feeling a teeny bit off, woke up at 3.30 am with a tingling or numb feeling (can’t quite put point it because I’d been asleep) running down my left arm to my tips of my fingers.

Shall I see if numbness happens again or do you think it was a one off relating to the shock of yesterday afternoon?

@Maybesomethingmaybenothing if you’ve been in an accident then please get yourself checked out. Given it’s after hours, if you are in the uk phone 111 for advice.

DinosaurDiana · 22/01/2021 17:54

With it being your left arm I would be concerned that it was heart.
Could be due to the stress of the incident.
If it happens again I’d be getting looked at.

Maybesomethingmaybenothing · 22/01/2021 17:55

Okay thank you. It wasn’t actually an accident, it was more high-ish level stress sustained for a period of about 20 minutes.

I’ve been okay today though, so I might wait until Monday.

Thanks for replying. I think I feel better having just written it down.

Could you have been lying on your arm while you were sleeping?

2021betterbebetter · 22/01/2021 17:56

Please go and get checked out, I'd be worried it was something to do with your heart

cautiouscovidity · 22/01/2021 17:59

I think it's worth checking out. It could be heart related, it could be a mini stroke or something (possible if your blood pressure was high for a bit). Hopefully just a trapped nerve because your muscles are a bit tense though.
But better to be safe than sorry.

Pumpkinpied · 22/01/2021 17:59

You’re describing what could be a heart attack, especially if you’re female. I’m not sure this should be ignored.

WitchesNest · 22/01/2021 18:09

I wake up with that every night, I sleep on my arm funny. Unlikely to be shock or anything to do with your heart if it was hours after the incident.

Well that’s just it .. keep trying to remember which way I was lying. Could have just been lying in that arm. Pure co-incidence that it was the same day.

What an absolute vile pig. I'm so sorry you went through this. Do get yourself checked out just to be safe. I have had very similar incidents with these types of men on the roads and it really stresses you out doesn't it. If you had of been a man driving a BMW, audi or rangerover etc I can also or guarantee this wouldn't of happened. I wish we could get all these idiots permanently banned from the roads.

Maybesomethingmaybenothing · 22/01/2021 19:19

rosierise10 I know. He was driving a BMW btw Shock It was the fact that he wouldn’t let up. I thought he was going to follow me all the way home.
He definitely seemed to be on something.

Hi
Sorry this happened to you. I’ve been the victim of road rage and is really shakes you up.

Please consider putting a dash cam in your car. If you have evidence of foul behaviour from another driver, the police take it seriously.

rosierose10 · 22/01/2021 23:13

@Maybesomethingmaybenothing I knew it would be! They are another type of breed these idiots. I second getting a dash cam they are really worth having.
