It will! Was it a tricky walk? I went on one last weekend knee deep in mud (well, ankle deep anyway) and I was aching so much the next day. The same walk in summer is nothing like that

First time I walked Ben Nevis I literally crawled up the stairs to get to bed afterwards!

Wait until tomorrow then, the second day is normally the killer! 😱

bluecheesefan · 22/01/2021 17:55

Your body won't thank you if you don't give it the opportunity to strengthen and repair itself. So maybe a short stroll tomorrow to loosen everything up, and leave a longer walk till Sunday.

Lurkingforawhile · 22/01/2021 18:01

I think you did well to get out. It's cold and a bit miserable. Cyclists say riding through winter makes you much fitter so let's hope it's the same!

It will ease in time I promise

Have a read of this OP, very normal and will ease with time. No need to stop exercising (although you may want too!)
