Chester parents! High schools

Hi all!
We are moving to Chester soon and struggling to find secondary school for DD as the preferred one Christleton is full 😞 can anyone recommend any others? Do most kids who live in Chester attend school in Chester or do lots go to other schools further out? (Don’t mind driving her but worry that she won’t make local friends)
Any advice appreciated

I live just outside Chester but Christleton was a secondary school option for us.
All 3 of mine looked around but really didn't like it if it makes you feel better
Bishops is a good high school not far from Christleton.I would avoid Blacon if you can.
In the end none of mine went to school in Chester at all we went in the opposite direction.

Are you after public or private schools?

A lot of my classmates didn't live in Chester but that was a private school so might be different.

Whereabouts in Chester are you moving to?
