Annoying dripping sound in wall

I've only heard it once before when the weather was very wet and windy , like today.
Wondering if anyone knows what it could be or if they've had similar.
It is in my bedroom in the wall that is connected either to the bathroom or outside wall. The drip sounds like it's in the wall. There is no wet patches so cannot tell exactly where it is.
It's stopping me sleeping and really starting to annoy me .

Could be a blocked drain and rainwater gathering on your roof...

Blocked drain in the bathroom?

I've got this too, it's driving me nuts. I'm wondering if it's water dripping down my chimney. I hear it drip dripping when there is heavy rain. In my bedroom too, might need to call the roofer in soon to see if he can check it out.

Is it possible the rain could be coming in through the extractor fan in the bathroom? But it does only happen when it's really windy l.

Is it upstairs? It might be the gutter overflow, take a peek at your guttering and see if you have a little pipe coming out that's dripping

Yep we have this, it's water dripping into the where the extractor fan exits the wall/extractor fan area, somewhere up there! It's only when the wind blows the rain into that direction, it's very annoying

Thank you everyone.
I'm led in bed just listening to the drips. Hope I can sleep soon.
