To ask what “just because” gift you would get your partner

I know loads of woman who love to get flowers “just because” but what would be a good just because present for my DP. He’s 22 and before anyone suggests flowers, he hates them. TIA

my boyfriend loves the brownies from our local bakery so i sometimes order him a dozen brownies as a ‘just because’ treat. or american sweet hampers. they’ve always gone down well.

I just bought my DH a subscription to get a parcel of snack foods from around the world each month, he's really pleased with it

My husband is South African and I get him biltong - meat is the way to my mans heart

Oh he does like his American candy

Another DH who loves Biltong (he's not from South Africa). He also loves rum and liquorice allsorts.

Just because gifts I've bought include:

A brand new PS4 game on the day it came out, because he would always wait months for them to go down in the sale

Bottle of nice red wine he likes

Ice cream

A coat that he had admired in House of Fraser but thought was a bit expensive

A hoody, because I was buying myself one for loungewear and thought he might fancy one too

Posh filter coffee

Mine likes biltong too and all sorts of chorizo, salami etc. Or a bottle of one of his favourite spirits. Or some beers.

Beer. Blow job if you can be arsed.

I saw a new comic book announced on Twitter today, so got him that as a random present. He likes chocolate and tea (and flowers !)

Generally some sort of alcoholic beverage for my dh. Not very often but maybe every couple of weeks I'll pick up a bottle of cider or wine for him (I don't drink, so it really is just for him). Or he quite likes it when I get a big bag of his favourite crisps (he's easily pleased tbh)

All things I treated DH to just because, he was a massive cake fiend and loved chocolate which I never have in, because I can't eat it. I miss having someone to treat for no reason.

I have had to ditch the biltong because my DH got gout! 😂
