I have a let property in Putney, it's in a conservation area. My tenant wants me to install double glazing windows but as it's a conservation area I was thinking more along the lines of secondary glazing to avoid the council red tape.
I have had a huge amount of wide ranging quotes and opinions of how the work should be done. One is a sash window (sitting room), one is just a french window (bedroom). Has anyone else done this, any recommendations, experiences etc.
I don't need a 5* super expensive job, just something to make the house a little warmer and to satisfy the tenant.
