Tips you learned from previous relationships....

I used to think I was actually already quite neat and tidy, but in my early 20s, I learned my bathroom habits needed a bit of work... I was told it wasn’t the best thing to leave water splashes all around the basin and my toiletries scattered haphazardly all over the counters.
Having never lived with anyone very house proud and immaculate, it was a learning curve, which I was happy to acquire. Very uplifting to have a dry clean tidy bathroom throughout the day, and especially brilliant when unexpected guests or repairmen have to attend.

Which simple or life altering tips and habits did you learn from a previous partner?

Never get married.

I would tend to agree! Grin
Women who’ve never been married live longer.

Always take your house keys out with you (ie, don’t rely on the other half to have them as they might randomly go off in a huff meaning you can’t get back in)

That just because I have an opinion doesn’t mean it needs to be voiced/don’t talk for the sake of talking - an ex had an opinion on everything and being able to watch people’s facial expressions/reactions from the sidelines made me much more self aware of how I want myself to be viewed as a person.
