Hi everyone!
My DD is 3 months old and I suddenly have the fear..... Since birth i have been using the Perfect Prep and I have been waiting for it to prompt me to change the filter and run a cleaning cycle.
It hasnt yet so all I have been doing is keeping the outside of the machine clean..... I have now read that I should have cleaned it every 4 weeks!!!
Am I a terrible mother? Have I caused any damage to my DD?

Firstly no you are not a terrible mother!! Don’t worry your DD will be completely fine. I did the same thing with my DS. I now do it on the 1st of every month. I think I went about 13 weeks thinking just with the filter. It actually wasn’t until I read the instructions when the filter needed changing. He’s now 10 months and is completely okay. It’s advised to do it every 4 weeks not a must. Don’t beat yourself up and aim to do it on the first of every month going forward maybe as it’s easy to remember. Flowers

Blue2021 thanks so much for your reply! That is a really good idea to do it on the 1st, I am going to copy you there. Glad to know you did the same (hehe) and all is fine! Did you use vinegar to clean by any chance?
Thanks again for putting my mind at ease - really appreciate it!

Struggling to start a new thread!
Looking for advice please.... My partner is obsessed with the fact out bedroom is a bit stuffy at the moment. Our 3 month old girl does wake a bit stuffy every morning.
He has bought a Vicks Cool Mist humidifier and I am not sure why but I feel a bit nervous about this.
Are they safe to have in the bedroom with baby? Are they ok to use every night?
Thanks in advance!
