Supermarket substitutions

I was chatting with DM about random substitutions which got me wondering about what happens to things that are refused? Do they go back onto the shelves or do fridge/freezer items have to be thrown? Anyone know?

I would presume they just get restocked.

The vans have fridge/freezer compartments so I would also presume they just get restocked.

Gets restocked as long as it’s still at the correct temperature when it gets back to store.

I quite like putting the returns back 🙂
