Help for a friend codeine addiction

Hi all

My friend isn't in mumsnet and I told her I would ask for advice

She thinks her husband is using codeine and is addicted to it , he used to be addicted to cannabis and has been cleans for 10 years but she had found empty packets and he denied

How can I help her to deal with this ?

I'm sorry this is so poorly written but when she told me I struggled to give what I felt was good advice

She must be so worried but if her husband won’t admit it, or doesn’t want help to quit, all you can do is be there for her.

At the bottom of this link ‘help and support’ it says she should speak to a GP, they will be able to advise what help there may be if and when her husband wants to stop.
