Has anybody worked at the CoE as a lay person?

I saw a job as and it fits really well BUT I'm Jewish. If they're not too pushy and respect my faith I wouldn't have an issue. Although I think I would feel uncomfortable if they pray every day. So I'm in two minds about it. Great perks though!

I don’t think it would be an issue- would you have Muslim/ Christian working for the Jewish council?

I think it would depend on the role tbh, if there needs to be an understanding of the needs of the community, etc...

My friend works for the diocese of winchester in an admin role. She said it's about 50% Christian's and 50% other or no faith. So a higher number of Christian's than it a typical workplace but I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue.

Also I dont think any workplace has daily prayer as a requirement, most Christian people I know dont pray during the working day.
