Bedroom decor ideas

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me with bedroom design ideas. We have quite a small room, pretty much square and the only furniture is a bed and 2 bedside tables- the wardrobe is built in so does not take up part of the square and can't be changed.

We have ordered an oatmeal coloured carpet and have beige divan bed base, so I'm thinking of a beige/cream/light brown colour scheme. Can anyone give me some inspiration?

The room has a dado rail hallway up the wall which we wont be removing, so ideas of how to feature that would be great too. The walls are currently blue.

do you have a picture that you like to go on the wall? or choose a poster or other decor. Then choose colours from that for the walls & curtains etc.

Thanks, good idea. I dont have a picture or art but I could have a look for something and then match the colours.
