What drink really quenches your thirst?

I'm so thirsty tonight, had roast gammon/ham for dinner, which was lovely but now I'm thirsty and I have nothing nice to drink. I'm really craving ice cold cloudy lemonade, or lemon Fanta (full sugar one though, none of that zero stuff).

What would you choose?

Ice cold lemon San Pellegrino before they ruined it 😒“

I always thought bottled water was a complete rip off until I tried SP, it’s lovely, isn’t it?
Btw, Lidl now do an “Italian” fizzy water in a very similar bottle - 39pmand almost as good, give it a go.

My favourite at the moment is Sainsbury’s hi-juice pink grapefruit squash.

OverByYer · 17/01/2021 20:52

Sparkling water a room temperature. I find it difficult to drink cold water

MrsW85 · 17/01/2021 20:52

Coke and blackcurrant squash. There's nothing like it. Especially when you have that dry sticky feeling in your mouth.

Onesailwait · 17/01/2021 20:53

I make myself virgin mojitos. Bash up the mint & lime, a splash of simple syrup lots of ice & top up with soda water.

Frodont · 17/01/2021 20:54

Water
Robinsons lemon squash
Waitrose pink grapefruit squash

Nothing fizzy

jessym · 17/01/2021 20:55

A large, flaming glass of chilled Bavarian Weissbier.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 17/01/2021 20:57

@jessym That's what DH says - he's from down there + a beer garden under trees to drink it in.

jessym · 17/01/2021 20:57

That should be foaming glass, obv...

Same. The bubbles, though I love them, are a challenge enough without it freezing my teeth off too!
Comefromaway · 17/01/2021 20:58

A nice, cold glass of water.

PaddingtonsHat · 17/01/2021 20:58
