Pregnancy food stressing me out!

Hello!

So as the subject says being pregnant is making me very anxious about what I can and cannot eat. It sounds ridiculous but I’m literally googling if I can eat certain things 😂

I’m really craving sweet and sour pork at the moment ( I’m only 8 weeks) but I really want it! But I’ve heard chinese isn’t the best for you especially battered foods. Hoping it’s okay to eat otherwise I might cry 😂 I ordered myself some tonight and then of course googled it and then there are so many mixed reviews it’s stressing me out! Xx

Please try not to worry.

Battered foods generally aren't nutritionally good for any of us but there's no increased risk when you're pregnant.

Overall try to have a healthy balanced diet if you can but absolutely have some treats/junk food if you want them.

The list of more risky food to avoid is actually very small - pretty much pate and unpasteurised cheese. Have a look at the NHS website.

thank you for the reply back. I ended up eating it but it’s made me feel so much more nauseas than I did before I ate it. We can’t win! 😂 at least I tried x
