Yes, you can ask - particularly if you have your child down for more than one school.

However, it's pretty meaningless to know the numbers as most children sit at more than one school.

Thanks for dippy, only down for one but I'd like to know how many are competing!

BTW dippy I didn't understand the reasoning behind my asking, particularly if she sits at more then 1⃣ place, do you mean they may not let me know if she's only sitting one?
